Returns, Exchanges & RTO Policy
This policy applies to all purchases made on Preetato.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
*Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges*
Requests for return or exchange must be raised within 7 days of delivery. Items must be:
- Unused, unworn, unwashed
- Free from stains, odours, or damage
- Returned with all original tags, labels, and packaging intact
Items failing to meet these conditions will not be accepted.
*Exchanges*
- One exchange per order is permitted
- Exchanges are allowed only for size or product, subject to availability
- Exchanges once processed are final
If the requested size or product is unavailable, a store credit valid for 6 months will be issued.
*Returns*
Returns are accepted only in cases where the item received is:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Incorrect
Such issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, along with clear photos or videos of the product and packaging.
All return requests are subject to verification and quality inspection. The final approval of any return lies solely with the brand.
*Non-Returnable Items*
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Products purchased during sales, discounts, or promotional offers
- Items showing signs of wear, washing, alteration, or use
- Products returned without original tags or packaging
- Accessories, intimate wear, or hygiene-sensitive products (if applicable)
*Fit & Product Disclaimer*
Fit may vary based on individual body type and personal preference.
Customers are advised to refer to the size chart before placing an order.
Minor variations in color, texture, or finish may occur due to lighting, photography, or screen resolution and do not qualify as defects.
*Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy*
COD orders are eligible for exchange only, not refunds
Approved returns for damaged or incorrect COD orders will receive store credit only.
COD charges, if applicable, are non-refundable
COD availability may be restricted for certain pin codes or during sale periods.
Repeated COD refusals may result in COD being disabled for future orders.
*Delivery Refusal & RTO (Return to Origin)*
An order will be marked as RTO if it is:
- Refused at the time of delivery
- Unclaimed or undelivered due to customer unavailability
- Returned due to incorrect or incomplete address details
- Returned after repeated failed delivery attempts
*Prepaid Orders*
- A store credit will be issued after deducting forward and reverse shipping charges
- Store credit will be valid for 6 months and non-refundable
*COD Orders*
- No re-shipment will be attempted
- No refunds or credits will be issued for refused COD orders
- Shipping charges are non-refundable in all RTO cases.
- Self-Shipping of Returns
In certain locations, customers may be required to self-ship the product back to us. Instructions will be shared by our support team where applicable.
*Store Credit Terms*
- Store credits are non-transferable
- Cannot be redeemed for cash
- Cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated
- Must be used within the validity period in a single transaction
- Expired credits will not be reinstated.
*Address Accuracy*
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping details.
Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete address information will be treated as RTO.
*Force Majeure*
Delivery timelines may be affected due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, strikes, governmental restrictions, or courier delays.
*Policy Rights*
Preetato reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being published on the website.
